CaringFor Your Casts

Each Zoe Green Casting piece is created to be cherished for generations. With gentle care, your cast will retain its beauty for many years to come.

Plaster

Plaster casts are presented within a sealed frame behind glass. To care for these pieces, gently dust the frame only. Avoid opening the frame or touching the plaster itself, as it is delicate by nature.

Glass

Glass casts should be lightly dusted using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or cleaning products, which may affect the surface clarity.

Polished Bronze

Polished bronze casts can be cleaned using Brasso, and we recommend the Brasso wadding rather than liquid polish. Use gently and sparingly to maintain the natural lustre of the bronze.

Patinated Bronze

Patinated bronze casts should be gently dusted with a soft cloth only. Please avoid washing, scrubbing, or using cleaning products, as this may remove or alter the patinated finish.

Nickel Plated

Nickel plated casts should be lightly dusted with a soft cloth. Avoid excessive cleaning, scrubbing, or washing, as this may damage the surface or plating over time.

Silver Plated

Silver plated casts should be gently dusted using a soft cloth. Please do not scrub or wash these pieces, as this may damage the plating or engraved details.

Solid Sterling Silver

Sterling silver casts may be cleaned using Silvo, and we recommend using Silvo wadding rather than liquid polish. Use gently to preserve both the finish and engraving.

Gold Plated

Gold plated casts should be gently dusted with a soft cloth only. Avoid cleaning products, scrubbing, or washing, as this may damage the surface, engraving, or plating.
