Casting Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions are here to keep everything clear and transparent. Every piece I create is bespoke and handcrafted, and these guidelines help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
1. Bookings & Deposits
A £150 deposit is required to secure all home‑visit casting appointments and remote casting kits. This deposit is fully deductible from your final order.

If you need to reschedule, please give as much notice as possible. Your deposit remains transferable to a new date.

2. Bespoke Work
All casts, frames and finishes are handmade and completely unique. Natural variations in texture, tone and appearance are part of the artisan process and are not considered faults.
Turnaround times vary depending on the finish chosen. You will be given an estimated timeframe when placing your order.

3. Precious Metals
The price of precious metals can fluctuate. If the market price of a chosen metal increases by more than 5% between the time your order is placed and the time it is produced, the final price may be adjusted to reflect this change.

4. Glass Casts
Glass casts may include natural internal features such as:
-
soft swirls
-
clouding
-
tiny air bubbles

These are part of the glass‑casting process and do not indicate a defect. You will be shown examples before placing your order.

These natural markings do not qualify for refunds or replacements.

5. Plated Items
If you choose to have an existing item plated (such as jewellery or a personal keepsake), I will always handle it with great care. However, the plating process involves heat and specialist chemicals, and because of this, I cannot take responsibility for any damage that may occur to items supplied by you for plating.

6. Pricing
All prices are listed in Pounds Sterling and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

For precious metal pieces, the price at the time your order is accepted will apply. In the case of a genuine pricing error, the correct price will be confirmed before work begins.
Clients outside the UK are responsible for any import duties or taxes applied by their country.

7. Remote Casting Kits
Remote kits are provided free of charge. Your investment is simply the price of the final finish you choose.

Clients are responsible for returning casts safely using suitable packaging and a tracked service. Any delays caused by late returns may extend the production timeline or require imprints to be re-made at a charge.

8. Delivery & Collection
Delivery costs are not included in the price of your piece and will be added to your invoice.
UK deliveries are sent via a trusted courier or Royal Mail. International delivery costs will be quoted in advance.

Delivery dates are estimates. While every effort is made to meet your preferred timeframe, delays can occasionally occur due to the bespoke nature of the work.

If unforeseen circumstances arise, you will be notified as soon as possible.

You are welcome to collect your finished piece by appointment.

9. Damaged Goods
All pieces are packaged with great care. If your parcel arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging, please note this when signing for it.

If your piece is damaged upon opening, you must notify Zoe Green Casting within 48 hours so that a replacement or credit can be arranged.

Returns must be sent in the original packaging (or equivalent) using the courier service specified.

10. Returns & Satisfaction
Because each piece is bespoke and made to order, refunds are not offered for:
-
change of mind
-
artistic variations
-
natural material characteristics

If a piece is deemed unsatisfactory due to a genuine fault in craftsmanship, it will be replaced or credited at Zoe Green Casting’s discretion.

Your satisfaction is incredibly important, and every effort will be made to ensure you love your finished keepsake.
